Back On Track: di nuovo in pista!
Cinque appassionati di Classic Rock si ritrovano, dopo anni di condivisione di palchi e tante avventure live, per un progetto che di "nuovo" ha solo il nome: la ricetta è ancora quella originale. La riproduzione di grandi Classici del Rock, dai Led Zeppelin ai Police, dagli Who agli U2, Deep Purple, AC/DC e tanti altri, con quel rispetto e quella passione che ha sempre contraddistinto questi cinque ragazzi:

Five Classic Rock enthusiasts meet again, after years of sharing stages and many live adventures, for a project that is "new" only in name: the recipe is still the original one. The reproduction of great Rock Classics, from Led Zeppelin to the Police, from the Who to U2, Deep Purple, AC/DC and many others, with the respect and passion that has always distinguished these five guys:

Il progetto "THE QUILAS" è nato dall'unione di amici musicisti che condividono la voglia di divertirsi e far divertire, suonando i propri brani preferiti della storia del Rock.
E naturalmente...una grande passione per la Tequila!
Ci trovi in giro per la provincia di Brescia: se ti capiterà di sentire del buon rock provenire da un locale o da una festa, suonato a un volume improponibile, molto probabilmente potremmo essere noi!

THE QUILAS are an Italian rock band formed as an alliance between 6 friends and musicians.
We all loved playing some of our favorite rock songs and having fun.
And we all love Tequila, of course!
You can find us somewhere around Brescia, in Italy: if you hear a very loud rock music coming from a pub or a party in town, played at insane level, you probably are gonna find us there!

Un progetto nato per cantare e ballare, in un clima di festa e spensieratezza.
Selezioniamo il meglio della canzone italiana degli ultimi 40 anni, insieme a qualche classico del Rock e Blues internazionale. Tutto suonato live con una potentissima formazione "Power-Trio" rock!
Sagre di paese, feste di matrimonio e aperitivi in musica sono le situazioni in cui diamo il meglio di noi.

Our goal is to have fun with the audience, who is involved to sing and dance with us.
We play some of the most famous Italian songs of the last 40 years, among with some international classic rock masterpieces. All this stuff is played LIVE in a power-trio kind of band!
Orange Juice acoustic duo

Un progetto nato per caso, dalla necessità di accompagnare l'incredibile vocalità di Annamaria Loda (classe 1996) per un concorso. Il duo è piaciuto: il pubblico chiedeva informazioni sui successivi concerti. L'imbarazzo ci ha impedito di rispondere "veramente non siamo un duo" e sono nati gli Orange Juice.
Repertorio vastissimo, che si adatta alle più diverse circostanze: dalle cover italiane che hanno segnato la storia della musica pop nel nostro paese, passando per qualche classico del jazz e del rock (Etta James, James Brown, Peggy Lee...), fino a hit internazionali recenti, reinterpretate in chiave acustica: Adele, Amy Winehouse e tanti altri.
Il duo forse tutt'ora non esiste, quindi non esiste un sito e non esiste una pagina facebook.

This was not a project, it was something born just because of the need for Annamaria to fine a guitarist to support her wonderful voice in a few occasions. But People loved the duo, and Orange Juice was born.
We play lots of differents styles and songs, from italian famous pop songs to classic jazz & soul pieces.
We like to play also some international pop hits that match Annamaria's vocal style such as Adele, Amy Winehouse and much more.
Orange Juice project does not exist, so there is no website and no facebook page.

Il progetto Coast to Coast è una cover band in cui ho suonato la chitarra e cantato come background voice.
Il repertorio è composto da pezzi classici del rock di artisti come Eagles, The Knack, Black Crowes, Creedence Clearwater Revival, David Bowie, Cream, Police, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, The Who, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi...e molti altri. L'obiettivo della band è riprodurre nella maniera più fedele possibile i brani originali, per fornire al pubblico un'esperienza unica che permetta di assaporare lo spirito originale degli artisti di cui riproducono le canzoni.

Coast to Coast' project is a live coverband, in which I played guitar and sang as a background voice, with other four people. They play some of the most famous classic rock songs, from artist as The Black Crows, Creedence Clearwater Revival, David Bowie, The Cream, The Police, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC..and many more. Gli Whiskyin'blu sono stati uno dei miei primi gruppi "live": abbiamo fatto la prima serata dal vivo ancora nel 2009! Suonavamo canzoni di gruppi rock che hanno fatto la storia, come Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Beatles...ma con un approccio diverso: cercavamo di aggiungere un'impronta personale ai grandi classici. Il risultato era qualcosa di nuovo, per far ascoltare un po' della nostra anima.

I have played in this band for many years: our first live show was in the year 2009. We play songs from lots of very famous classic rock artists, such as Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Steavie Ray Vaughan, The Beatles...but with a different approach: we try to put some of our personal style in the reprodution of famous songs: the result is that when you listen to the Whiskyin'blu you here something new, even if the songs are just covered, and you listen some of our soul, even if we are not the authors of the songs.
Winny the Punk
Nonostante il nome, gli Winny the Punk non facevano solo punk. Il progetto includeva un repertorio di cover e un percorso di pezzi inediti, scritti e arrangiati un po' da tutti gli Winnies. Le cover, suonate sempre con una particolare "energia" che contraddistingueva la band, spaziavano dal moderno punk-rock (Green Day, Blink 182, Sum 41, The OffSpring...) fino allo ska, passando per...sigle dei cartoni animati, rivisitazioni di colonne sonore o delle ultime hit che passavano in radio e quanto di più assurdo ci si potesse aspettare.
I brani inediti sono stati raccolti nel primo EP ufficiale "Patalove", pubblicato nel 2010.
La preparazione dell'EP è stata una fonte di importanti esperienze: ho avuto occasione di registrare, per la prima volta, in uno studio professionale; siamo stati ospiti in alcune trasmissioni radiofoniche e televisive locali, abbiamo rilasciato una conferenza stampa, lavorato ad un set fotografico per l'album, organizzato una piccola "tournée" per presentare il disco. Insomma, abbiamo fatto un po' "come fanno quelli veri"!

Winny the Punk is not only "punk". WTP project is double: they play some covers, but also their own music. Covers are: some modern punk-rock stuff (Green Day, Sum 41, Blink 182...), some SKA and...some cartoons themes songs! WTP's own music has been recorded on their first EP in 2010, called 'Patalove'.
Working on the disc was a great experience: I went in a real professional recording studio, we have been guests on some radio & tv shows in our town, we made up a photobook for the album cover, we organized a small "tour" to promote the album. We did some of the things that a real rockstar is supposed to do!
